So..yea...its been awhileeee

Alot has happen..so much that I cant even remeber most of it. Im in Charlotte NC with family right now I was in Mrytle beach for a few day previously but ill talk more about that later. Anyway about 2weeks ago i went to Pittburg to see my favorite Artist...MAXWELL!!! besides Dorian...thats my man..I love me some him :) his opening act was Chrisette Michelle and she was Fabulous i wouldnt mind seeing her in concert either. Well Maxwell was better than ever he sounded just like he does on the radio but..even better if you can pick up his new album, you wont regret it.....peace

STILL MOURNING..MJ

so this weekend was AMAZING (besides MJ's passing) Dorian ended up staying over my  house for two nights.I picked him up from penn station and from there we went to time square for a bit. He loved it. Oh btw he was looking GOOD! I was so excited. The next day we went to Madam Tussands and from there Soho and from Soho we walked to the village into a little festival which was great because Dorian bought a few things for his apartment. We then went to Canal street to look in pearl paint, then from there we went to south street sea port and saw a real rainbow, clear as day...and after contemplating about dinner, we finally decided to go to SEA i wanted Dorian to see this place,,i knew he would love it, which he did. And although we were stuck on the J train for 20mintues it was fun.So ofcourse I was sad when sunday came around but now i look forward to September, when i go back to school ;)....o and more pics will come im just being extra lazy, note the side ways pic!..peace

So im sure everyone knows by now that the king of pop has passed and it was a devastating lost for not only his fans but the whole world. When I first heard, which was on thursday after lunch, I had just came off the train and i get a call from Koplah. So the first thing she says to me is Michael Jackson is dead. .......WHAT! i wasnt as shocked as I am now because it hadnt really hit me ..until today , and its sunday. But i hope now he can rest in peace and soon people can focus on the positive aspect of this man rather than the negative...here are some pics of MJ's memorial @ Apollo today.

Abbey Lincoln..and other stuff on the brain

Well my mom started playing Abbey Lincoln again and I realized how much I love her music. Her album "A turtles dream" is boss and if you havent heard it, you should. Anyway, I have been looking forward to this coming week for about eh..a month now and it seems like now there will be a slight change in plans. Apparently Dorian will be staying in New Jersey and not actually NY so it kinda sucks that he has to try n find his way to queens. I dont know how this is gonna work I'm hoping everything falls into place ..and if it doesnt im gonna be even more pissed. However right now Im chillin with My mom and Joan watching my fav movie LOVE JONES!!!!! so..peace.

lol So I shall explain.. this past Wednesday after work I went with a few friends to this restaurant in Williamsburg Brooklyn called SEA

IT WAS SOOOOOO HOTT! the set up was awesome and I was litterally in awe its the perfect little spot...im def bringing Dorian here on the 26th...PLUS they had them cool little globe seats that hang from the ceiling

So this past Saturday Koplah and I went to Willianns house for her sis College Graduation party. Koplah and Williann are both from Liberia a country in Africa, so its kinda a given that every body there would already know eachother...let me tell you, ALL absolutely ALL liberians know eachother its craZY! So to make a long story short..after telling Koplah since 11 o freakin clock that we should start heading home we finally found a ride. Unfortunately it was a woman who had a little to many to drink she was cursing and just a hot mess. Let me tell you ..she began swerving and we found ourselves on the other side of the rode. ummm Koplah and I jumped outta that car with the quickness once the red light hit walking back to Willianns house where we got a ride with her sis...which was the original plan..peace <3

B.A.M

I know I know..its been a while ...again BUT! alot has happened, this past weekend was off the chain.Got a chance to see my girl Williann and we kicked it all day unfortunately Naja couldnt make it out. We ended up getting lost trying to get to the african B.A.M festival in brooklyn, we ending up going to south street seaport and watched random people walk by. There was this lady there singing the little mermaid real animated like, funny!





Anyway the next day I went to the festival with Joan and Chris..omg let me just say I miss home further more I miss this festival, I used to go with my trifflin father but that all stopped once we became estranged anyway it was just how I remembered it. As soon as I got there, there were people playing african drums and just jamming I was defitnitely in my element I swear, the whole time I was just wishing Dorian was there, he wouldve looveed it!. So I didnt get much except a black fist tank, a bracelet and ..thats it. Any way I kinda just started working these past two weeks and am bored outta my mind but im content..idk if you can be both at the same time but..its cool. Chicken Wing French Fry

Yesterday my building had no freakin water...and so, and I had to wash with this bottle water


Before going outside to chill with my best friend Koplah. Since there nothing to do in Rochdale we just walked around and went to the chinese restaurant to eat some good old chicken wings and french fries with extra hot sauce and ketchup. yummmmm. Then we ran into my mom, since it was cold we walked back to my house so I can et my coat then went to koplahs house so she can change her shoes. (Why she wore heels in Rcohdale, i'll never know) any way turns out her boots have a big hole in the toe part so we spent most of the time walking back to my apartment, trying to hide her damn toes. It was funny because before going inside my building there were two guys trying to talk to us. So we literally ran away so they wouldnt see her foot plus, they werent to cute. After that little run in we just chilled in my room watching living single, I love money and Martin beefore prank calling my bf, Dorian. HAHA lets just say he passed the test.thank god, thats why I loveee me some him. Anyway thhat was pretty much my day or my yesterday, so far I've just been playing with Maddox the mischievous kttien. I love him he's soo adorable although hes a bad little boy, but we'll talk about that!...some other time. Peace and hair grease <3

Mothers day is in one day and I just thought I start celebrating early




Well, my mother Princess Adena Goins is absolutely the best I couldnt ask for anyone else. She has sacrificed everything to give me a nuturing and normal life and being that she is single mother, I believe she deserves the up most respect. When I become a successful writer/filmmaker/artist whatever it may be I will make sure that this woman reaps the benefits. She's just awesome, and theres nothing more to say.
